Victorian Railways RT Rail Tractor
Ixion Model Railways is producing the Victorian Railways RT Rail Tractor in 1:87 HO scale, covering V-Line Orange, V-Line Yellow and Victorian Railways Yellow liveries.
Each loco number is available in two configurations: 12V DC non-sound at $315.00, or DCC Sound-fitted at $455.00 with digital control, motor sound and horn effects.
All models feature a diecast chassis, all-wheel pickup, directional lighting and greater than prototype hauling capability. DCC models add a ZIMO MS591N18 (Next 18) decoder with a ZIMO STAC04 stay-alive controller board, utilising 2 x 2.7 volt slow-charging super capacitors. A 15×11 mm speaker is installed in all RTs at the factory.
How This Pre-Order System Works
No money will be taken until the RT models are in hand in Australia and ready to ship. Make your choice of loco/s below, and select your preference of DC or DCC from the drop-down menu. Enter your postal delivery address and your card payment details. The preorder is then saved and will be activated only when the loco/s are ready to ship, at which point the card will be debited and the model/s sent. Orders can be cancelled at any time up until the date of shipping (to be advised).
To cancel a pre-order before it ships, log in to your account and go to My Account > Pre-orders, where eligible active pre-orders can be cancelled. Accounts are created during checkout so you can return later to manage your pre-order.
